Data Collection
Tarali collects personal identification data including full legal name, email address, geographic location, professional credentials, and case-intake responses submitted through the platform intake wizard. We may also collect device metadata, session duration, and interaction telemetry for platform analytics purposes. Data is stored on SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure and is retained for a period not exceeding 36 months from the date of last account activity, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
TL;DR
We collect your name, email, location, and case info. It's stored securely and deleted after 3 years of inactivity.
User Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and applicable international data protection regulations, all registered users retain the right to access a complete copy of their personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request permanent deletion of personal data, and opt out of the sale or transfer of personal data to third parties. Requests may be submitted through account settings or via privacy@tarali.com. We will respond within 30 calendar days.

AI Data Privacy
All conversational data, case intake transcripts, and AI-generated case briefs are processed using end-to-end encryption both in transit and at rest. Chat transcripts are never used to train third-party AI models. Transcript data is accessible only to the client who generated it and the matched professional who accepted the case. Tarali employees do not have routine access to transcript content.

Matching Logic
The Tarali matching algorithm processes intake responses, geographic data, professional specialization tags, verified credentials, and historical case-outcome signals to generate a ranked compatibility score between clients and professionals. No sensitive protected characteristics are used as matching variables. Users may request a human review of their match results by contacting support.
TL;DR
Our algorithm matches you based on case type, location, and expertise, never on protected characteristics like race or religion.
Liability
Tarali's liability with respect to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any data processed through the platform is expressly limited to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law. Tarali acts solely as a technology intermediary and assumes no liability for the professional advice, conduct, or outcomes associated with any matched professional.
TL;DR
Tarali is a technology platform. Our financial liability is capped at what you've paid us in the past year.
